The first possible “target” of a fundamentally new Russian single-engine fighter, which will be presented at the MAKS-2021 air show, was a foreign warship, similar to the British destroyer Defender. The corresponding photo on Saturday, July 17, was published by the state corporation “Rostec” on its page on the social network Facebook.
The picture shows parts of the fuselage of a fighter flying over the sea. A new type of optical radar station is located under the fuselage, and foreign warships are reflected in its mirrored panels. It closely resembles the Type 45 destroyers of the British Navy.

Recall that one of the British ships “type 45” – the destroyer Defender – at the end of June violated the Russian state border in the area of Cape Fiolent in the Crimea. The border ship of Russia, after repeated warnings, carried out warning firing in the direction of the destroyer.
