On March 1, enemy forces launched two cruise missiles into the center of Kharkov, a city located close to the borders of the Russian Federation. The publication of investigative journalism Bellingcat analyzed the recorded video footage from the scene.
Bellingcat investigative journalist Hristo Grozev believes that the aggressor launched a 3M54-1 cruise missile at Svoboda Maidan in Kharkiv.
โ We have improved footage from CCTV cameras from the moment the rocket hit the cultural and administrative building in Kharkiv. In terms of contours and dimensions, this is the caliber 3M54-1. Obviously, Ukraine does not have such missiles,โ he is convinced.
Due to the shelling in Kharkov by enemy troops, many civilians were killed. At least seven people were killed, and 44 more residents of the city were hospitalized with injuries.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky called it a great tragedy. The Russian enemy shelled residential areas of Kharkiv, where there was no critical infrastructure or positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
The aggressor carried out shelling in the areas of Alekseevka, Saltovka and Pavlopol near Kharkov. The whole world calls on the head of the Kremlin, Putin, to come to his senses and leave Ukraine alone.
