LDPR leader Vladimir Zhirinovsky was hooked up to a ventilator and put into a medically induced coma. This was announced on Saturday, February 26, according to the Mash Telegram channel.
According to the channel, Zhirinovsky's condition has been deteriorating in recent days. There was information that he could hardly speak and breathe, because of which the doctors transferred him to a life support apparatus.
However, the press service of the Liberal Democratic Party said that the data on the deterioration of the politician's health is not true.
The party reported that Zhirinovsky's state of health is assessed as stable.
Earlier, the Liberal Democratic Party denied media reports about the alleged 75% lung damage in Zhirinovsky. On February 9, the LDPR leader was taken to the Central Clinical Hospital (CCH) with an omicron strain of coronavirus. Since then, he has been under medical supervision.
