Turkish shipbuilding company Alia Yachts has built the longest steel and aluminum yacht in the world. Reported by the Daily Mail.
We are talking about the ship Al Waab II with a length of 54.8 meters and a weight of 500 tons. According to the material, the boat is designed for families and can accommodate up to 12 people. The yacht is equipped with a two-storey bedroom on the upper deck, spacious heat for relaxation and a gangway for diving. The cost of Al Waab II has not yet been disclosed.
Before the ship is handed over to an unnamed owner, it will undergo several sea trials. According to the publication, the company will present the boat in September at the yacht show in Monaco.
In June, Europeans built the largest yacht in the world and valued it at 43 billion rubles. We are talking about the 221.8 meter long Somnio, which is recognized as the largest yacht in the world. In addition, a new category was invented for it – “Yacht Liner”. There are 39 luxury apartments on board the boat; they are sold at a price of 8.1 million pounds (613 million rubles).
