The world introduced new restrictions for travelers

Ten countries around the world have tightened their entry rules due to the coronavirus: for example, the UK began to require a negative test for coronavirus no more than 72 hours old, and South Korea will require a test taken 48 hours before departure. RIA Novosti reports.

In South Korea, regardless of test results, all travelers will be quarantined for 14 days.

A negative PCR test for coronavirus will be required for travel to Cuba, Brazil, Colombia and Germany. Those entering Germany from Russia must go to a ten-day quarantine even if the test is negative, but the isolation period can be shortened by passing another test five days after arrival.

A PCR test certificate will also be required in Estonia. It will not affect transit passengers, as well as residents of areas bordering Latvia and Finland (these people travel between countries every day for work).

In Chile, from January 1, 2021, arrivals from abroad are sent to a ten-day quarantine (a test for entry is needed), in Peru, quarantine is two weeks (a test is also needed), and Greece has increased the quarantine period from three days to a week.

As Rambler reported, due to a new strain of coronavirus detected in the UK, the Russian authorities have stopped flights with the country until January 13, 2021.
