The world again revealed a record for COVID-19 cases per day

The World Health Organization (WHO) has once again set a record for coronavirus cases per day. The data is provided on the website of the organization.

The total number of detected cases of COVID-19 infection was 657 312. Most of the infected specialists were recorded per day in Europe (over 285 thousand), North and South America (over 269 thousand) and Southeast Asia (over 55 thousand).

In total, there are more than 53 million cases of coronavirus infection in the world for all time, over 1.3 million people have died.

The day before, on November 13, WHO also recorded another record increase in new cases of coronavirus infection in the world over the past day. Then 628,136 new patients with coronavirus were recorded.

In Russia, over the past 24 hours, a new record was set for the number of coronavirus infections – from November 13 to November 14, 22 702 new infections were detected in 85 regions of the country. Most of the new cases were registered in Moscow (6627), St. Petersburg (1852) and the Moscow region (786). The lowest indicator is in the Chukotka (3) and Nenets (8) Autonomous Okrugs.
