Australian woman who drank two liters of Coca-Cola a day gave up soda and lost weight

A resident of South Wales, Australia, gave up Coca-Cola and lost 57 kilograms in a year. Her story is published by the Daily Mirror.
32-year-old Jessica Lovejoy said that before losing weight, she drank at least two liters of soda a day and very rarely drank water. She started and ended the day with Coca-Cola. Lovejoy added that she always had problems with willpower: she was addicted to chips, cookies, cakes and chocolate. “I just ate, not paying attention to what gets into my body,” – said the woman.
The Australian woman made the decision to change her lifestyle and lose weight after she began to suffer from pain in her knees and feet. She gave up junk food and replaced it with healthy foods.
Lovejoy hadn't had breakfast before, her first meal was at lunchtime. Most often, she ate fast food and take away ready meals. The woman had a snack with chocolate, chips and cookies, and dined with meat and vegetables. Before going to bed, the Australian again ate chips and sweets.
On the diet, the woman's diet changed: she began to have breakfast bran with almond milk, a banana and two slices of whole grain bread with peanut butter or jam, dined on salad with chicken, meat or ham, and dined on vegetables with chicken with pasta or rice. For dessert, Lovejoy ate fruit, yogurt with honey, muesli, or prunes with an apple. She chose whole grain crackers and fruits for snacks.
Lovejoy admitted that she was motivated by love for herself and taking care of her body on the way to fight overweight.
Earlier it was reported that a resident of the American city of Fort Wayne, Indiana, lost 37 kilograms in 17 months and named the three main secrets of successful weight loss. She noted that there is no need to focus on the number on the scales and consider it the main measure of success.
