The publication's sources indicate that the final decision has not yet been made.

The administration of US President Joe Biden is discussing raising about 200 million . dollars to finance the American army to provide immediate assistance to Ukraine.

Bloomberg writes about this.

Financing can be used to pay for weapons, ammunition and other equipment critical for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Ukraine is now facing an artillery shortage, and Russian troops have made small territorial gains in recent weeks, the story says.

“The debate over the use of small amounts of Pentagon reserves underscores the White House’s persistent efforts to find whatever support it can for Ukraine,” writes Bloomberg.

The White House is focused on persuading the US House of Representatives to pass the Ukraine aid bill. Biden is confident that if the House Speaker puts the bill to a vote, it will be passed with an overwhelming majority of votes.

Recall that for several months now the US Congress has been unable to approve new funding for assistance to Ukraine in order to continue the supply of weapons and more. This situation stems from disagreements between Republicans and Democrats over border security, funding for which was included in the package with the help of Ukraine, Israel and Taiwan.
