The White House has nothing to announce about the new meeting between US President Joe Biden and Russian leader Vladimir Putin, there is no relevant information. This was announced by White House press secretary Jen Psaki, RIA Novosti quotes her words.
“The President certainly appreciates interaction at the level of leaders. He spoke with Putin many times in the past, including face-to-face, but now I have nothing to announce to you, ”Psaki said.
Earlier, the White House announced Biden's readiness for new negotiations with Putin. White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki stressed that the United States is fully prepared to continue diplomatic cooperation with Moscow on European security, but Washington does not yet know what decisions Russian President Vladimir Putin will make.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov noted that Russian President Vladimir Putin and his American counterpart Joe Biden will decide for themselves whether they need to conduct personal contact after negotiations between representatives of Moscow and Washington at the working level.
