White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki said she had nothing to say yet about the possibility of a meeting between US President Joe Biden and Russian leader Vladimir Putin. She answered a question during a regular briefing, she is quoted by RIA Novosti.

According to Psaki, she has no information regarding the meeting of the presidents after the security talks.

“I have nothing to predict for you on this front,” she said, assessing the situation after the summit.

“People are going back to their capitals, they will discuss, evaluate, look at the situation. So with regard to further steps, we need to look, we will know more in the coming days, ”concluded Psaki.

Earlier in January, presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said there was no readiness for a talk between US President Joe Biden and Russian leader Vladimir Putin on security guarantees. “I repeat once again that the overall picture has not yet been drawn up, it would be naive to believe that one round of negotiations will give an exhaustive result, but there is not much reason for optimism so far, the work will continue,” the Kremlin spokesman said.
