Meeting of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky with the President USA Joe Biden will take place after participating in the high-level week events of the UN General Assembly on Thursday, September 21.
This was announced by US Presidential National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan at a briefing on Friday, September 15.
“This will be their third meeting at the White House. It comes at a critical time, when Russia is desperately seeking help from countries like North Korea for its brutal war in Ukraine, and Ukrainian troops are waging a counteroffensive,” he said.
Jake Sullivan also added that the United States will soon announce a new package of military assistance for Ukraine.
The meeting between Zelensky and Biden became known the day before, but then there were no details about the exact date of the meeting and location – New York or Washington.
Recall that the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky will take part in the general debate at the session of the UN General Assembly at the high-level week, which will be held in New York at the headquarters UN apartment from September 19 to 25.
