In St. Petersburg, 23 thousand tests were carried out per day to detect coronavirus infection.
The number of studies carried out has grown significantly in comparison with the indicators of recent days. The day before it was reported that 18.6 thousand citizens were tested, on Tuesday the number of tests was 12.5 thousand, on Monday – 11.1 thousand.
“Over the past 24 hours, 23,012 people have been tested for coronavirus in St. Petersburg. 14,861 calls to the number 122 to the Unified Regional Information Service on issues related to coronavirus have been processed,” the daily updated COVID summary on the Smolny website says.
Earlier, “DP” wrote that the St. Petersburg headquarters on April 15 reported 719 new cases of transmission of the virus. This is the highest figure since the end of March.
