The US administration believes that Israel is making efforts to minimize civilian casualties in the Gaza Strip.

But it can do more for this.

This was stated by US State Department Speaker Matthew Miller, writes Ukrinform.

“According to our understanding, they (the Israeli side – ed.) are really trying to minimize civilian casualties,” said a State Department spokesman.

Like, the Israeli leadership stated this publicly. However, he says more efforts can be made to achieve this.

“We believe that they can take additional steps,” the Foreign Ministry speaker noted.

A State Department spokesman noted that the United States is discussing with allies and partners the deployment of additional field hospitals to treat civilians from the northern Gaza Strip.

Images of the IDF's Golani military brigades inside the Gaza parliament building are spreading across the internet. It has been under Hamas control since 2007.

Previously, it was said that Hamas was preparing for a second massive attack on Israel. Thus, the militants planned to cause a crisis in the region and break Israel’s ties with Arab countries.
