Ukraine funding bill should be considered next.

American Senate passed a government funding bill to prevent government shutdowns.

Democratic leader in the US Senate Chuck Schumer expressed hope that the bill on financing Ukraine will be considered next.

After the vote in the Senate, the temporary budget must be approved in the House of Representatives, after which it will be submitted to President Joe Biden for signature.

“As soon as Congress avoids a shutdown, my goal is for the Senate to move as quickly as possible to the adoption of additional measures on national security (where, in particular, funding for Ukraine is expected. – Ed.),” said Sumer.

We recall that it was previously reported that US President Joe Biden told how the meeting took place with members of both houses of Congress, at which they discussed further military assistance to Ukraine .

In addition, we previously reported that Biden said that if representatives of the US Republican Party continue to block the bill to allocate $61 billion in aid to Ukraine, they will have to “pay a lot for it” .
