The plan provides for the transfer of 20% of Ukrainian territories to Russia.

The United States of America does not support the idea of territorial concessions from Ukraine to the Russian Federation in exchange for peace.

The corresponding statement was made by US Ambassador to the OSCE Michael Carpenter in an interview with Delfi.

He said that the United States will continue to support Ukraine in the fight against Russian aggression

“They (the Russians) simply have to leave these territories that they illegally occupied and return to Russia,” Carpenter explained.

At the same time, he rejected loud statements, sounding more and more often, that Ukraine “supposedly” could give up part of its territories and supposedly get peace instead.

“Ukraine will not fall. I think our assumption is that the United States will support Ukraine along with all of our partners and allies, including the approximately 50 countries participating in the Contact Group on Ukraine, also known as the Ramstein format, so we will not Let’s allow this to happen,” the diplomat concluded.

Meanwhile, House Speaker Mike Johnson proposed a US budget plan without Ukrainian help. It also excludes funds for Israel and Taiwan. This position is due to the fact that in the States they are afraid of a possible shutdown.
