The United States is concerned about the problem of mobilization in Ukraine.

The United States put pressure on Ukraine to adopt a new law about mobilization.

This is discussed in The New York Times.

At a time when American officials were pressuring lawmakers in Washington to provide more military aid to Ukraine, they were also pressuring the Kyiv government to solve mobilization problems.

According to US Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs James O'Brien, the country's mobilization efforts were equally critical to stabilizing the front and turning the tide of the war, just like artillery.

“Ukraine must make sure it has the people it needs to fight,” said a White House official.

It is noted that the lack of clarity regarding how this policy will be implemented has added to the heated debate in Ukraine over this event.

“Yes, many soldiers at the front, including tens of thousands who have been fighting without rest for more than two years, consider the adoption of the new law on mobilization a fair and honest step,” — the publication wrote.

Recall that on Thursday, April 11, the Verkhovna Rada adopted a bill on mobilization in Ukraine.
