For protection merchant ships in the Red Sea on Saturday, February 10, US Central Command forces attacked military installations of the Houthi group in Yemen. A total of five targets were hit north of the city of Hodeidah.

The corresponding statement was released by the US Central Command on February 11.

“The force successfully carried out self-defense strikes against two unmanned surface vessels (USVs) and three mobile anti-ship cruise missiles (ASCMs) that were ready to be launched against ships in the Red Sea,” the statement said.
