Tensions between China and the United States continue to mount.
US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, met with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Jinping in Laos on July 27. I. There, he again expressed serious concern about China's support for Russia's defense industrial base.

According to Blinken, the United States will continue to take appropriate measures to do so.
“The Secretary of State again expressed serious concern about China's support for Russia's defense industrial base and made clear that if China does not take action to address this threat to European security, the United States will continue to take appropriate measures to do so,” the message.
Note that Russian and Chinese strategic bombers together flew off the coast of Alaska this week.
