The US and Britain have given Kyiv permission to strike targets behind Russian lines, but are not announcing this – The Guardian

This decision is part of the plan to end the war.

The United States and Great Britain have allowed Kyiv to carry out long-range missile strikes on targets deep in Russia, but have not officially announced this.

This is reported by The Guardian.

According to information from the publication's sources, London and Washington have decided to allow Ukraine to use long-range missiles, but are not yet ready to announce this officially.

Western officials note that the deployment of missiles is part of a wider plan aimed at ending a full-scale war. In addition, Biden does not agree with Putin's argument that strikes on targets in Russia with Storm Shadow missiles could be regarded as the beginning of a NATO war with Moscow.

British Storm Shadow missiles, produced by a European company, have the ability to hit targets at a distance of at least 190 miles. Ukraine intends to use them to strike air bases, missile positions and other military targets inside Russia.

Recall that military-political observer of the Information Resistance group Alexander Kovalenko noted that granting Ukraine permission to strike deep into Russia with long-range weapons will affect the intensity and power of shelling from Russia, allowing them to significantly damage their logistics and reduce the potential of Putin's army.
