Joe Biden
More than 50 former senior US intelligence and military officials have accused Russia of campaigning against Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden. They wrote about this in a letter published by Politico.
Former US intelligence officers believe that the publication in the media of the correspondence of the Democrat's son Hunter Biden is connected with the Russian operation. It is noted that Moscow, by such actions, influences the votes of voters in the American presidential elections in 2020. The letter says that these are “classic signs of Russia's information campaign.”
However, former intelligence officers did not provide any evidence of Russian interference. According to them, they made such conclusions based solely on the experience of their many years of careers.
Earlier, the New York Post reported that new evidence appeared in the case of the oil and gas company Burisma, which is associated with the activities in Ukraine of Joe Biden and his son Hunter. At the disposal of the publication was the previously unpublished correspondence between Biden Jr. and Ukrainian businessman Vadim Pozharsky, who served as an advisor to the board of directors and director of international development for Burisma Group. In one of the letters, dated April 17, 2015, Pozharsky thanks Hunter Biden for arranging for him to meet with his father in Washington.
In another message, sent in May 2014, Pozharsky asks Biden Jr. to think about how he can use his influence for the good of the company.
