In foreign countries, big money has been invested in the production of vaccinations, said doctor and TV presenter Alexander Myasnikov in an interview with Komsomolskaya Pravda.
“Nothing personal – pure business! They also want to produce their own vaccine, ”the doctor emphasized. He also added that, according to the American authorities, Russian scientists were quick to register the drug.
At the same time, political scientist Georgy Bovt believes that the West does not specifically recognize Russian medicine and science. The expert added that doctors from Russia in the USA and Europe are obliged to retrain the training. The first domestic drug for vaccination against COVID-19 called “Sputnik V” was created in the center named after Gamaleya and launched into production on August 15. First, doctors and citizens from risk groups will receive the vaccine. Mass vaccination of Russians will begin in 2021.
