The United States has threatened Belarus with a swift and decisive response from the West if the country allows its territory to be used to attack Ukraine, State Department spokesman Ned Price said. RIA Novosti writes about this.
“In recent days, we have made it clear to Belarus that if it allows its territory to be used to attack Ukraine, it will face a quick and decisive response from the United States, our allies and partners,” he said.
According to him, in such a situation, NATO can go to build up the alliance’s forces in the countries that border Belarus.
Earlier, US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken accused Russia of having plans to overthrow the Ukrainian government. Some of them, as the diplomat stressed, do not include force solutions. At the same time, he is sure that military scenarios for resolving the conflict in the Kremlin are also being studied.
