White House spokeswoman Jen Psaki said the US will hold security talks with Russia in January. RIA Novosti reports.
According to her, the details of the negotiations have not yet been finally agreed upon. “We have negotiations in January. We just have not yet agreed on all their details, that is, this will be the next step, ”she said.
Earlier, Psaki said that the United States and Russia are engaged in a dialogue at the diplomatic level and are discussing the latter's proposals on security guarantees. She stressed that the American authorities are no longer ready to agree to some of Moscow's conditions: in particular, to agreements on the non-expansion of NATO to the east.
