The United States sent two B-52H Stratofortress strategic bombers to the Middle East. This is reported by Interfax with reference to confirmation in the Pentagon.
According to air observers from the United States and Great Britain, the bombers that flew from the United States reached the borders of Iran and then returned. During this extended flight, they were accompanied by fighters from Israel, Saudi Arabia and Qatar.
Such flights are carried out regularly by the US Air Force.
