Russian President Vladimir Putin scored a major victory over US leader Joe Biden on energy. This was announced by American politician Matt Dolan in a column for Columbus Dispatch.
According to him, the head of the White House is destroying the US gas and oil industry in pursuit of reducing emissions into the atmosphere. So, he banned the implementation of the Keystone XL oil pipeline and did not prevent the stop of the Line 5 highway, the author recalled.
Dolan expressed the opinion that these and many other measures were supposed to improve the environmental situation in the country, but since Biden took office, pollutants in the atmosphere have increased by five percent.
“Who benefited from these steps? The obvious winner is Russian President Vladimir Putin, who quickly made up for the increased demand for fuel in world markets,” the columnist resents.
He also recalled the damage done to American workers and businesses over the past year. Dolan is confident that the limitation of crude production has also strengthened Russia's oil industry.
