Due to warm weather and mudslides, the Russian Armed Forces will probably not be able to invade Ukraine on February 16th. Such doubts about the allegedly prepared Russian attack were expressed on the American television channel CNN, Strana.ua reports.
Journalists from the United States said that due to the mud, Russian equipment would not be able to develop the offensive. However, according to them, Russia still has the ability to attack thanks to its aircraft and long-range artillery. According to Strana, American media are beginning to prepare viewers for the fact that there will be no “Russian invasion of Ukraine”.
On February 14, it became known that US President Joe Biden, during a telephone conversation with Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky, refused to give clear answers to a question about additional financial and military assistance to Ukraine. Biden also failed to respond positively to an invitation to visit Kiev in the near future.
