The draft calls on Iran to stop supplying weapons to terrorist groups.
The United States of America presented its draft resolution on Israel's war with Hamas.
Reuters writes about this.
The draft calls for the protection of civilians, as well as the “constant, sufficient and unhindered” delivery of aid to the Gaza Strip.
In particular, the authors of the document call for the release of hostages held by Hamas militants.
“The document addresses Israel’s right to self-defense, and also emphasizes the need for states to comply with international law when responding to terrorist attacks,” the statement said.
It also notes that Iran must stop supplying weapons to terrorist groups that “threaten peace and security throughout the region.”
What we know about the Hamas attack on Israel
A peace summit on the confrontation between Israel and Hamas was held in Egypt, attended by leaders of Arab countries and European diplomats. Tel Aviv representatives did not come there.
The IDF said that during strikes on the Gaza Strip on the night of October 22, the deputy chief of the Hamas rocket forces and dozens of other militants were killed.
During official meetings, Hamas terrorists agreed with Russia on the transfer of weapons, in particular small infantry weapons.
