The American edition of the National Interest appreciated the Soviet Su-25 attack aircraft. The reviewer concluded that the battle-hardened aircraft could last for several more decades.
This is because successful design solutions were used in the attack aircraft. Given the relatively small upgrades, the aircraft may remain in demand in modern military conflicts. Therefore, the author calls it one of the most combat-ready in the Aerospace Forces (VKS) of Russia.
The National Interest also briefly told the history and characteristics of the Su-25. The aircraft entered service in the early 1980s. It was intended to support the ground forces. The attack aircraft has powerful weapons and an armored hull. The aircraft has five suspension points under each wing. The Su-25 was even used recently during the conflict in Nagorno-Karabakh.
