In 2022, the Ukrainian Navy may receive more than ten Mark VI-type patrol boats from the United States. As expected, deliveries will be carried out in stages.
“This year, the Ukrainian navy should be replenished with the first models of American-made combat boats Mark VI,” the Ukrainian Navy said.
It is clarified that some details of the contract for the supply of boats are kept secret for security reasons.
It is reported that the number of Mark VI is more than ten.
Earlier, the delivery of these boats was announced by the Ambassador of Ukraine to the United States Oksana Markarova. However, she said that their number would be more than three.
Note that the Mark VI are combat patrol boats that are designed to patrol coastal sea areas and protect ports.
They are armed with a 30 mm automatic cannon and can carry rocket weapons on board.
