The administration of the incumbent US President Donald Trump plans to introduce new sanctions against Russia. RIA Novosti became aware of such preparations.
So, according to the preliminary version of the document, the Russian Ministry of Defense may fall under the sanctions. Also, restrictive measures will affect 28 organizations: research centers and enterprises engaged in the aviation, rocket and space, nuclear industries and the instrument and engine construction industry.
In particular, for the first time, two organizations of Rosatom and Roskosmos, which are working on the creation of nuclear weapons and rocket and space technology, will appear on the sanctions list. In addition, restrictions threaten 10 companies involved in civil aircraft construction, the creation of aircraft engines and helicopters, as well as the development and supply of aviation materials.
In addition, a certain federal state unitary enterprise (FSUE) associated with the administration of the President of Russia may fall under the new sanctions. Its exact name is not indicated.
As noted by RIA Novosti, it was initially assumed that this sanctions list would include 89 Chinese companies seen in ties with the military. However, later it was decided to include Russian organizations in it.
