A US official expressed concern about China's “alliance with Russia” after talks between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese leader Xi Jinping. After all, “Moscow continues its brutal and illegal invasion of Ukraine,” the CNN source stressed.
A State Department spokesman says Washington is watching Beijing's actions. According to him, “everyone who takes the side of Moscow in this unjust war will inevitably find themselves on the wrong side of history.” Moreover, the US and the EU warned China about the consequences of providing military assistance to Moscow in its war.
