US President Joe Biden called & # 8220; irrelevant & # 8221; the idea of using US military force to counter the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
He stated this on December 8 in a comment to reporters.
– The idea that the United States will unilaterally use force to counter Russia's invasion of Ukraine is not relevant now, – said Joe Biden.
The US President confirmed the thesis made by a White House spokesman on December 7 that in the event of an invasion, Russia would be subject to severe sanctions pressure.
Recall , US National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan said at a briefing that the United States is ready to impose sanctions on the Russian Federation that have not been there since 2014.
