On Wednesday, February 9, the United States delivered another batch of military aid weighing 80 tons to Ukraine.
– The ninth “bird” under the US flag and the second cargo aircraft of military assistance for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which today received the Boryspil airport. More than 80 tons of ammunition have arrived in Kiev,” Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov wrote on Twitter.
The US embassy clarified that these aircraft with ammunition are part of a ready-to-use aid in the amount of $200 million, which was approved in January.
“The United States will continue to provide vital support to Ukraine, helping it defend its sovereignty and territorial integrity,” the statement said.
Recall, also on February 9, a cargo with military-technical assistance from Britain arrived in Ukraine: these are bulletproof vests and helmets.
