The United States continues to deploy its military to Europe to reinforce NATO's eastern flank. 1,700 US troops from the 82nd Airborne Division arrived in Poland.

“The deployment of US forces in Poland demonstrates our continued commitment to NATO in a time of uncertainty. Together with our Polish allies, we are here to increase interoperability, strengthen the military balance, increase responsiveness and, if necessary, protect and secure NATO,” commented the commander of the 82nd Division General Christopher Donaghue.

Recall, Polish Defense Minister Mariusz Blaszczak recalled that a total of 1,700 US military should arrive in the country. The contingent must strengthen the eastern borders of NATO against the backdrop of the Russian threat.
This was preceded by the fact that the President of the United States, Joe Biden, officially approved the additional deployment of American troops in Eastern Europe. We are talking about 3,000 troops that will be transferred to Romania and Poland.
