State Department spokesman Ned Price told what diplomatic consequences will follow for Russia during the escalation around Ukraine, RIA Novosti reports.

Price called the consequences of the escalation in Ukraine and said that the worsening of the crisis would change the diplomatic relations between Russia and the United States. “I would not like to go into hypothetical reasoning, in a broad sense – it will sound and look very different,” he answered the related question.

The State Department spokesman added that the “window” for diplomacy with Russia would remain open until the Ukrainian crisis escalated.

Earlier, Price spoke about the “genocide” in the Donbass. According to him, Washington sees no grounds for such statements. White House press secretary Jen Psaki admitted that Russia's information about burials in the Donbass could be disinformation.

The Investigative Committee of Russia (TFR) opened a criminal case on the discovery of mass graves of civilians in the territory of Donbass. In total, the remains of almost 300 civilians who died as a result of shelling by Ukrainian armed groups in 2014 were exhumed.
