The shelling in the Gaza Strip is intensifying.

The United Nations said its office in the Gaza Strip came under fire last night.

This was announced by the administrator of the UN Development Program Achim Steiner on the social network X.

According to him, there are reports of dead and wounded civilians hiding there.

“This is wrong in every sense. Civilians, civilian infrastructure and the integrity of UN facilities must be protected at all times,” he wrote.

What's happening in the Gaza Strip

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Israel would oppose the return of Palestinian authorities to Gaza after the war against Hamas.

On Saturday, November 11, Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant warned that Beirut could suffer the same fate as Gaza if the pro-Iranian Hezbollah group, which is allied with Hamas, drags Lebanon into war.

More than 200 Ukrainian citizens were withdrawn from the Gaza Strip, where the Israeli army is fighting against Hamas militants. At the same time, the diplomatic mission of the Russian Federation is trying to sow despondency in the evacuation among Ukrainians.
