Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba supported President Volodymyr Zelensky's call to ban the West from issuing visas to Russians.

The head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry called on all EU and G7 countries to stop issuing visas to citizens of the Russian Federation until they “learn to respect international borders”.

Ukrainian diplomat Dmytro Kuleba tweeted about this.

“I call on all EU and G7 countries to stop issuing visas to Russians. President Zelensky is absolutely right in insisting on this. Russians predominantly support the war against Ukraine. They should be denied the right to cross international borders until they learn to respect them,” wrote K uleba on Twitter.

As previously reported, the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine stressed that in the new package of sanctions against Russia, the priority item should be a ban on the issuance of Schengen visas to Russians.

It is worth noting that immediately several European states are calling to stop issuing visas to Russians.
