The United Aircraft Corporation commented on the information that the Il-78M-2 aircraft is preparing for an emergency landing at the Zhukovsky airport near Moscow.
As the press service of the corporation told RIA Novosti, an emergency landing is being practiced as part of flight tests.
“The Il-78M-2 aircraft is undergoing a flight test program, during which, among other things, various modes of takeoff and landing are being worked out,” the UAC said.
Earlier it was reported that the Il-78 tanker aircraft was preparing for an emergency landing at the Zhukovsky airport near Moscow.
