A turtle in the Mala Mala safari park in South Africa did not let the lions quench their thirst. A funny case was posted on YouTube .
The atypical animal interactions were witnessed by the photographer Reggie Barreto while he was arranging a private tour for a visitor. According to him, in his entire 30-year life, he has not seen anything like it.
The turtle swam close to the predators and prevented them from drinking water. Those, in turn, did not quite understand what was happening and tried to move away from her, while not causing any harm to the baby.
Barreto noted that the lions had eaten the zebra shortly before. The turtle was most likely interested in the smell of blood.
