As Russia contributes meteorological data into the program, it has access to EUMETSAT channels.

Russia continues to receive instantaneous meteorological data from Western and other governments that can be used to planning chemical or biological attacks in Ukraine.

This is reported by military experts, writes Reuters.

It is noted that earlier Washington and its allies warned that Moscow may be planning to use chemical or biological weapons. However, weather data from some of the same countries, including the United States and the United Kingdom, continues to flow to Russian agencies. This includes measurements of wind speed and direction, sunlight, precipitation and other factors.

In the European Organization for the Exploitation of Meteorological Satellites EUMETSAT, which is based in Germany, say they continue to provide data to Russia. EUMETSAT spokesman said that the organization has stopped sending data from EU satellites to Russia and Belarus at the direction of the European Commission, but it continues to transmit information from other European satellites to these two countries, as well as meteorological observations from governments around the world.

The organization explained that since Russia contributes data to the program, it has access to EUMETSAT channels. Thus, Russia will receive data from European countries, including the UK, as well as from America, Canada and other countries.
