MAKHACHKALA, September 13. / TASS /. Dagestan State Technical University (DSTU) together with MIREA – Russian Technological University (RTU) won a grant for the development of educational programs on artificial intelligence. This was reported to reporters in the press service of the university.
“DSTU, within the framework of the implementation of the national program” Digital Economy “, took part as a partner of MIREA – the Russian Technological University in the competition of the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia for the provision of grants for the development of a competence model in the field of artificial intelligence. education in the field of artificial intelligence, “the press service said.
As noted, the agreement provides for the development of educational programs on artificial intelligence during 2021-2024, to train 75 masters and 50 bachelors with competencies in the field of artificial intelligence, as well as 80 pedagogical workers of higher educational institutions of the North Caucasus, including the Republic of Dagestan. It is assumed that this will allow the republic to develop entire branches of the digital industry, in particular, artificial intelligence and robotics, the Internet of Things, “Smart City”, digital transport platforms, as well as IT technologies.
“The educational programs being created will include innovative techniques for training specialists. In particular, training is provided with a focus on professional cases, the acquisition of universal competencies for working in high-tech sectors of the economy, project training, master classes and trainings from leading IT companies in the region”, – explained at the university.
DSTU partners with participation in the competition and further implementation of the development program within the framework of the grant were: MIREA – Russian Technological University, Penza State University, Samara National Research University named after academician S. P. Korolev and Kursk State University.
