27-year-old teacher was arrested in Canada for raping a student

In Canada, a teacher went on trial, who was accused of seducing and raping a student. Reported by CTV News.
Rebecca Lynn McCubbin, 27, of Medicine Hat, Alberta, was arrested on December 16 on charges of rape and sexual exploitation of a minor. The teenager, whose gender has not been disclosed, independently contacted the police and said that he had been repeatedly sexually abused by a teacher since January 2021.
The administration of Eagle Butte High School, where McCubbin worked, said she was fired as soon as the crime became known. School representatives are ready to provide full assistance to the investigation. At the moment, McCubbin has been released from custody, but she is prohibited from communicating with persons under the age of 18 and from being in places where minors can gather. The next court hearing is scheduled for January 27, 2022.
Earlier, a high school teacher in the United States was arrested on charges of raping a student. About her connection with a minor teenager became known after a video circulated among the students of the educational institution in which the teacher has sex with one of the wards.
