The tallest dog in the world Kevin died tragically just days after the world learned of his record-breaking achievement.

This is reported by the Guinness Book of Records.

A three-year-old Great Dane who lived in West Des Moines, Iowa, USA, died this week after unplanned surgery following an illness.

Kevin's owner Tracy Wolfe said in her farewell speech: “Our entire family is deeply saddened by Kevin's death. He was simply the best giant boy! We are thrilled that he was able to break the record and receive this light . He just loved attention. I wish these giant breeds and all dogs could live longer than they do.”
