The Afghan government, formed by the terrorist organization Taliban, has vowed to revise its policy towards the United States if the US government withholds funds from the Afghan Central Bank. TOLOnews writes about this with reference to the Taliban's statement.

“In order for the US (…) not to spoil relations with the Afghans, they must reverse their decision and release the assets of the Afghans without any conditions. The US must also refrain from such provocative actions, which create further distrust between the two sides,” the statement said.

Earlier, US President Joe Biden decided to issue an order according to which all the assets of the Central Bank of Afghanistan in the amount of $ 7 billion, stored in American banks, will go to Washington's emergency disposal.

The White House plans to share the money: $3.5 billion will be given to the families and relatives of the victims of the September 11, 2001 attacks, and the other half will be spent on humanitarian aid to Afghanistan.
