The Ukrainian army will receive an Archer artillery mount and CV90 infantry fighting vehicles.
On Wednesday, On February 8, the Swedish parliament adopted a decision on changes to the budget in connection with the supply of military assistance to Ukraine in the amount of 4.3 billion Swedish kronor ($406.7 million).
This was reported in the press service of the Riksdag.< /p>
“Military equipment, without which the Swedish armed forces will be able to do for a certain period, will be transferred to Ukraine. The package includes NLAW anti-tank weapons, mine-clearing equipment, Robot 57 light anti-tank weapons and Combat Vehicle 90 infantry fighting vehicles,” the message says.
These budget changes will take effect on Friday, February 13 .
Earlier, the Swedish government officially announced that it would transfer Archer self-propelled artillery mounts to Ukraine, without naming the exact number. Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson spoke about plans to transfer about 50 CV90 infantry fighting vehicles.
Recall that Sweden and Germany are negotiating a new package of weapons for Ukraine. It should include air defense missiles.
