Stylist Kim: ditch hyper-oversized, chunky sneakers and neon in 2022

Stylist Olga Kim recommended abandoning hyper-oversize, chunky sneakers and neon in 2022. She shared her opinion on anti-fashion trends in a conversation with Lenta.ru.
The stylist said that hyper-oversize will fade into the background in 2022. “This does not mean that we completely abandon it and abruptly begin to fit, but gradually the trend is moving towards fitted silhouettes,” explained Kim.
Changes are also expected in shoe trends, the stylist noted. So, massive sneakers, which were relevant for the last three years, are leaving the past, Olga Kim said. “Now you can take a closer look at vintage sneakers,” she recommended.
Neon will not be among the current colors of 2022, the expert believes. “That is, bright colors are becoming more relevant, but the neon, which has been in vogue for two years, is leaving,” added Kim.
Russian star stylist Lina Dembikova named the best clothes for celebrating the New Year. For women planning to have a cozy party at home, a fashion expert recommended giving preference to lingerie dresses, feather looks and luxurious pajamas with decorative elements. An appropriate outfit for meeting the Year of the Tiger, in her opinion, can also be tracksuits in combination with pumps and lots of silver jewelry.
At the same time, men should choose trousers and a minimalistic oversized shirt with a stand-up collar, which gives the image a splendor, or a laconic sweatshirt with trousers and boots.
