State Duma Deputy Mikhail Delyagin on his YouTube channel said that Western countries are pushing Ukraine to attack the Russian border regions in early 2022.

“There is a real threat of an attack on Russia, they (the Ukrainians – Note of Lenta.ru .) Are being prepared for this, but they do not really want it. The West is pushing them to this very strongly, ”the parliamentarian said. He believes that Ukraine's attacks on Crimea, Rostov-on-Don, Belgorod and Bryansk should be expected from early February to mid or late March.

In addition, Delyagin believes that the bad internal situation, “a situation of absolute hopelessness,” is also prompting the Ukrainian authorities to act aggressively.

On the same broadcast, Delyagin said that the Ukrainian leadership “is bad enough to keep people in subjection,” and the only way for this is war.

Earlier, New York Times journalist Andrew Kramer pointed out a feature of the Ukrainian leadership that could lead to war. According to him, the inexperience of the entourage of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is of growing concern, which can lead to dire consequences not only for Ukraine itself, but also for the United States. The material notes that many close associates of the Ukrainian leader, like himself, come from the world of show business and did not have political experience before their appointments to high posts.
