US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken thanked Polish Foreign Minister Zbigniew Rau for helping Americans leaving Ukraine. It is reported by Polsat news.

In turn, Rau expressed gratitude to the US authorities for the decision to send additional troops to Poland. During the telephone conversation, the politicians also discussed the initiative to launch a renewed dialogue on European security. They also noted the possibility of resolving the crisis around Ukraine through diplomacy.

Earlier, the United States opened centers in Poland to provide assistance to Americans coming from Ukraine. As the diplomats recalled, US citizens can cross the border between Poland and Ukraine by land. They called for the use of two border points for this, which have centers “to provide assistance to US citizens” who come to Poland from Ukraine.
