US Deputy Secretary of State Nuland: US will negotiate with Russia on one condition

The United States is ready to meet with Russian representatives on one condition, if Moscow is ready to “stop” and stop the special operation to protect the Donbass, said US Deputy Secretary of State for Political Affairs Victoria Nuland, TASS writes with reference to the air of the Dozhd TV channel (recognized in Russia by the media- foreign agent).
“The United States, of course, will be ready to meet with Russian representatives and try to de-escalate the situation in some way,” she noted and named the only condition for negotiations is the cessation of the military operation in the Donbass. Nuland added that the American side has never assembled or supplied the Ukrainian military with weapons with which they could attack Russia.
Earlier, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that Moscow would be ready to start negotiations with Kiev after the Ukrainian military laid down their arms. He also assured that the Russian side is not going to oppress the Ukrainian military in any way.
