Somnologist Kalinkin: you need to try to return to your usual routine right after New Year's Eve

In order to quickly adapt to working days after the holidays, it is necessary to try to return to the usual regime as soon as possible, said Alexander Kalinkin, candidate of medical sciences, somnologist of the Lomonosov Moscow State University's medical scientific and educational center. His words are quoted by the city news agency “Moscow”.
“Unfortunately, during the holidays, many people sleep very differently from normal. But it is advisable to try to reduce the time of morning sleep, and even more so, from January 2. And switch to the regime that is typical for a person, ”the expert said.
He clarified that for most people, the optimal time to sleep is from 22-23 hours to 7 in the morning. The somnologist emphasized that this primarily concerns those who have a fixed work schedule.
